The Cleveland Cavaliers are ready to go all-in for Kevin Love.
The Minnesota Timberwolves and Cleveland have discussed a blockbuster trade centered on Kevin Love and the league’s past two No. 1 draft picks, league sources told ESPN.
In an attempt to add Love, a three-time All-Star, the Cavaliers are willing to part with Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett.
One source said the Cavs also are willing to give up a first-round draft pick for next season. Any other players involved in the talks are not known.
The Timberwolves would be insane to turn down such an offer. They’re stalling right now because they’re hoping to get a better offer. The T’Wolves will try and use this offer as leverage against other teams such as the Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, and Boston Celtics. But no one can beat Cleveland’s offer. I’m certain that Kevin Love will join the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Wolves should be happy about this deal. They are setting themselves up for a bright future and with Andrew Wiggins, the rebuilding process will be much easier.
A big three consisting of Kyrie Irving, LeBron James and Kevin Love will surely blossom in Cleveland. The Cavs will be favorites to win the Eastern Conference next year. We’ll have to wait and see if they can bring a championship to Cleveland.
