“I don’t know it all. I’m just a fanatic.”

The Oakland Raiders had a ton of money to spend last year and they let down their whole fan base. Justin Tuck was a good pick up, and Charles Woodson was fantastic. Woodson was actually under paid and might be under paid again this year but that is a different story. Reggie McKenzie should be feeling the pressure this offseason. He blew it by getting rid of Hugh Jackson for Dennis Allen, he blew it with last years free agency signings when he had more than $60 million to spend, and Raider Nation is praying he wont make the same mistakes again in 2015. We will take a look at the best fits for the Raiders in free agency. Not just the biggest names, but what makes sense when we also think of the 2015 NFL Draft. We aren’t going to over do it and make a dream team. Keeping ...

JJ Watt isn’t just having a defensive MVP type season, he is have an NFL MVP type season. He is dominating opposing offenses, and he has proved to be un coverable as a receiving threat on the goal line. Here are his amazing stats just 10 games into the season: J.J. Watt is doing it all this season: 9.5 sacks 4 fumble recoveries 2 forced fumbles 1 Int 2 Rec TD 1 Int ret TD 1 Fumble ret TD — ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) November 17, 2014 Pretty amazing, even for the former 2012 NFL defensive MVP. His four touchdowns are tied with and are more than many big time offensive threats in the NFL. He is Ranked #59 out of 375 players with a score meaning each team averages less than two players on there team with more touchdowns than Watt. He is tied in touchdowns with: Steve Smith SR Michael Crabtree ...

The Oakland Raiders could arguably be the most hated team in the NFL. And they are especially hated in their rival teams city San Diego. Though teams, and fans alike no longer need to hate the Raiders for their physical, and what some used to think 20 years ago violent, and against the rules style of play, they still can hate on the Raider fans. Raider Nation is a wild and hardcore fan base. They get dressed up, hyped up, and get loud for their undeserving team. A Bail bondsman in San Diego saw a great opportunity this past weekend to get some advertising. “King” Stahlman bail bonds made a commercial pointing out why they loved when the Raiders come to town to play the San Diego Chargers. Take a look here: Raider fans show up in big numbers in San Diego. Some not having to travel to far since the ...

2014 NFL Pro Bowl voting has started! We usually tend to vote for our favorite team players, then the super stars, even if they haven’t been very good. I remember when Adrian Wilson finally made it when he was on the Arizona Cardinals in 2006, Five years after he was drafted. He was on a bad Arizona Cardinals team so he was over looked for so long, even though he made an NFL record 8 sacks for a defensive back in one season the year before. Right now there are many new faces, and players we might over look. Take a look at players that shouldn’t be over looked this year, and cast your votes here. Brian Hoyer, Cleveland Browns There are three quarterbacks in the AFC that will get the votes. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Andrew Luck. Though all of them are impressive this year, Hoyer deserves a ...

Photo By Matt Freed/Post-Gazette CHAMPS Brent Grimes For some odd reason, the Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator thought it appropriate to single cover Calvin Johnson Sunday with their best corner Brent Grimes. Grimes is a really good corner. He already has five interceptions this year. The problem is he is 5’10” (I think that is generous) and slower than the average corner. He isn’t slow, just slower. Well after being beat for a touchdown by Calvin Johnson in one on one coverage he was in one on one coverage again, was beat by a couple steps, and jumps what seemed to be five feet in the air to make a one handed catch. That is a big time play. CHAMPS Brad Wing Never heard of him? That is ok. Nobody but LSU fans did before this week. The Pittsburg Steelers’ punter and place holder made a heads up play turning a botched extra point into a two point play. If you didn’t know any better you would have thought he planned it. Mark Sanchez Nick Foles went down hard in the first quarter for the Eagles and backup QB Mark Sanchez came in and lit up the Houston Texans. Instead of making more memorable plays like the Butt Fumble, he threw for over 200 yards and two touchdowns leading the Eagles to a win. Bruce Irvin The Seattle Seahawks intercepted Raiders’ rookie QB Derek Carr twice. Bruce Irvin made a huge play by not only tipping the ball to himself, but also returning it for a touchdown. It showed importance with the Seahawks almost giving away the game and winning ...

Brandon Browner and Darrelle Revis were free agent pickups this offseason for the New England Patriots. Revis Got the giant contract of one year $12 million contract with an optional 2nd year at $20 million while Browner signed an average 3 year $17 million contract. Revis has been solid for the team with 2 interceptions this year, but quarterbacks haven’t been afraid to go after him. Browner served a 4 game suspension this year and took a couple extra games to get on the field because he supposedly didn’t pick up the defense fast enough. Well so far, Browner has been looking like the top corner on the team making big plays and big tackles these past 2 weeks. In 2 games started, the big corner, and former original member of the Seattle Seahawks’ “Legion of Boom” secondary, has 5 tackles and 1 interception. The stats aren’t high, but the ...

The San Francisco Giants have just won their third World series in just five years. Soon the Giants will be remembered as a dynasty. But it seems that there has been a little help. Going through Facebook I saw a friend who is a huge fan of Taylor Swift mentioned that the Giants have won all three world series the same week Taylor Swift has released an album. So I did the research and sure enough, Taylor Swifts last three albums have been released the same exact week. No, I am not saying that the Giants won the World Series thanks to Swift. They are a fantastic, hard working team that deserves it. I’m also pretty sure that Giants fans will probably now wait anxiously for her next album, while the rest of the league will pray she releases it in the offseason.     ...

In honor of the last National Championship Texas A&M won, they had Adidas make the best throwback uniforms ever. Mot only did they make a throwback jersey, but they also made throwback cleats and a sweet leather looking throwback helmet!
