LeBron James is finally ready to meet with Miami Heat president Pat Riley. James will have a face-to-face meeting with Riley this week. He has taken a methodical approach since opting out of his contract. James and his agent, Rich Paul put a plan in place, and it included LeBron taking some time off with family to watch how the free agent market unfolds. After meeting with the Heat, LeBron will go on to meet several other teams for face-to-face meetings this week as well. The Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets have emerged as front runners for the “LeBron James Sweepstakes” – it will be interesting to see where he lands. He could sign a short-term contract with the Miami Heat, or a long term contract elsewhere. In 2010, Riley convinced James to move to South Beach so that he could win multiple championships. He ...

When we heard about the broken A/C at AT&T Center in San Antonio, we knew something was coming. I just didn’t think it would affect LeBron James of all people. Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals will forever be known as the “Cramp Game” just like Jordan’s “Flu Game,” except this one ended with a disappointing loss. The A/C broke down early in the second half of the game and the temperatures inside the stadium were in the 90s. Early in the third quarter, Coach Erik Spoelstra took LeBron out due to exhaustion. During breaks, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh draped themselves in ice and were seen chugging cold water. The most stunning thing happened in the fourth quarter though – Lebron asked to exit the game in the fourth quarter. He stood as if he was a statue unable to move under his own cramps. He ...

Ray Allen is 38 years old and he is currently one of the oldest players in the NBA. He’s known as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, so it’s very rare to see him take it to the hole. But the man we call Jesus Shuttlesworth still has hops. Here’s a look at him dunking the ball during Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals: Ray Allen will be 39 years old in July and he is a 2x NBA champion. It’s amazing to see him fly like this. Allen is more known for hitting daggers from beyond-the-arc. But this shot turns back the clock, it reminds us of his days in Milwaukee as a young NBA player for the Milwaukee Bucks. The NBA veteran still has game, and if you ask me, I think he’s got at least another year left before an official retirement. ...

It’s been the talk of the town that Gatorade’s twitter account spent time trolling LeBron James after he cramped out of Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals. Luckily for them, Dwyane Wade is one of their athletes. Interestingly, he was still on the court and he played the entire 4th quarter. Here’s the good news: The Gatorade tweets trolling King James have been deleted. They were only visible for about 10 hours. Since LeBron decided to take his talents elsewhere and join Gatorade’s competitor – Powerade. It’s only natural to expect a comeback from Powerade. Here’s a tweet from the official twitter account of Powerade: Consistency, unselfishness and a drive to succeed. Congrats @KingJames on 4,000+ points and 1,000+ assists in the post-season. #powerthrough — POWERADE (@POWERADE) June 6, 2014   ...

In the midst of a 4th consecutive NBA Finals appearance for LeBron James and the Miami Heat, the debate and comparison always seems to be on every website and radio wave; King James vs Air Jordan. Although everyone admits LeBron is the best player in the world right now, most (basically everyone outside of Miami) are saying that Jordan was better. Michael Jordan did amazing things. He dominated the league for a decade and had performances that launched him to be celebrated as the best player ever.  Think about this though: Michael Jordan had his success during the 90’s when ESPN and Sports Center worked their way into our homes. Gone were the days where missing a game would send you to find the sports section of the newspaper. You could watch every highlight and play of Jordan’s spectacular performances. Because of this, MJ’s career has become a glorified untouchable ...
