Everything is going well when your star players are smoking invisible joints! Following the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 118-111 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, point guard Kyrie Irving said the Cavs are finally starting to play together as a team. Irving scored 32 points along with five rebounds, nine assists, and four three-pointers during the win and spoke of the team’s blossoming chemistry after the game. “This game was special because it was the first game we actually played well together as a group,” Irving said. The Cavs still have some building to do, but the fact that Irving and superstar LeBron James were able to co-exist on Monday night is a great sign for Cavs fans. Kevin Love also chipped in 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting (including six threes) but managed just five rebounds to go with his one steal and two assists in the Cavs’ win. Love ...

We all know that Kevin Love is unhappy with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’s been playing in the NBA for six season and he’s a star big-man in the NBA. Despite his spectacular stats as the power forward for the Timberwolves, Love has yet to make a postseason appearance. This would explain why Love is frustrated with the Timberwolves organization. But Flip Saunders thinks otherwise. “Just like I told Garnett, he didn’t have a right to be frustrated,” Saunders told KFAN 100.3 in Minneapolis-St. Paul on Saturday, per ESPN. “Why does any player have a right to be frustrated? You’re either part of the problem or part of the solution. “Should the team be frustrated? Yeah, the team can be frustrated. But I don’t think any one individual should be frustrated.” Saunders believes Love can’t force himself out of Minnesota because he is still under contract with the Timberwolves for at least one ...

Hold off on all your trade scenarios for power forward Kevin Love. It seems like the Minnesota Timberwolves will keep Love on their roster for the upcoming 2014-15 NBA season. Team President Flip Saunders is unwilling to trade Kevin Love, because he still has hopes of convincing Love to stay with the team that drafted him in 2008. Saunders wants other teams to know that it’s the Timberwolves who are in control, so that should end any conversations of a pre-draft departure from Love. The threat of Kevin Love walking away after just one season in a new uniform is too great for teams to completely break the bank for the highly sought big man. Looks like we’ll have to wait a while before we hear more news about the Kevin Love sweepstakes. I still think that the Wolves need to wake up and trade him away before he walks ...

The Los Angeles Lakers are open to the possibility of trading their first-round draft pick in exchange for a star player. The Lakers are hoping to strike a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, in exchange for power forward Kevin Love. Love has been in the NBA for six seasons and he’s never played in the postseason. Los Angeles is a potential destination for the big man. He played two years of basketball at UCLA and he’s originally from Santa Monica, so Love definitely has interest in playing for his hometown team, but the Wolves may find a better deal with another team. If the trade for Love falls through, the Lakers will reportedly pursue Deron Williams as their secondary target. Williams has been struggling for the last seasons in Brooklyn. During his time with the Utah Jazz, he was a perennial All-Star. D-Will is also hoping to get out of ...

Kevin Love has made it clear he will not re-sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves following the 2014-15 NBA season. So with the 2014 NBA draft nearly a month away, it is believed the Timberwolves could pull the trigger and trade Love if the right deal comes along. Love has been in the league for six years and he’s failed to make the playoffs each season. He’s ready to win and he’s told his people that he would be interested in joining either the Golden State Warriors or Chicago Bulls. Both of those teams would be interesting destinations for the Power Forward, but I don’t think Minnesota will find a deal with those teams. Chicago would be able to offer Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson and that offer wouldn’t do justice for what Kevin Love is worth. The Warriors could strike a deal with the Timberwolves only if the Wolves were ...

This month, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love has been averaging more points per game than Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant, more boards than Houston Rockets’ center Dwight Howard and more treys than Atlanta Hawks’ sharp shooter Kyle Korver. Since it’s February and love is in the air, we figure this is an appropriate video in honor of Kevin Love: ...

Kevin Love was unbelievable. – Timberwolves Head Coach, Rick Adelman That quote from Minnesota’s head coach sums it up. Kevin Love put together a very impressive stat line tonight. He tallied 37 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in Minnesota’s victory. In fact, it was his first career triple-double and he achieved it in 3 quarters. It shows us all how his NBA game has progressed over his 6 seasons in the NBA. The Twolves were short handed while playing the Utah Jazz. They were missing starting center Nikola Pekovic and guard Kevin Martin due to injuries. Statistically without those two players, the team was lacking nearly 40 points in scoring. They heavily relied on Kevin Love for tonight’s win, and he came through like a champ. Congratulations on a great team win! The Timberwolves now have a 27-28 record in the Western Conference. Final Game Score: 121 – 104  ...
