They have their hearts set on bouncing back from their disastrous season. Jim Buss and Mitch Kupchak believe the Lakers need an upgrade at point guard. Steve Nash is too old to be the starting point guard for the team, and Jordan Farmar just doesn’t cut it. Well guess who is on their radar? Point guard Kyle Lowry is coming off a career season with the Toronto Raptors. The Lakers are interested in signing the 28-year-old point guard. During the 2013-14 regular NBA season, Lowry averaged 18 PPG, 7.4 APG, 5 RPG and 1.5 SPG in a career-high 36 minutes per game.
