NFL Games That Matter – Week 15

Broncos vs. Chargers The (10-3) Broncos are taking on the (8-5) Chargers. Why this game matters? Well if the Broncos want to have any hope in having home field advantage throughout the playoffs, this is a must win for them. As for the Chargers, if they want to stay in the playoff hunt in which they’re at the bottom of the wild card, this is a must win for them as well. A key stat to keep an eye on is the Broncos are (3-3) on the road and the Chargers are (5-2) at home this season. The Broncos have the momentum coming into this game with a 3 game win streak, however for the Chargers they’re coming off a tough loss against the Patriots. These teams are always competitive when playing each other and I expect this game to come down to the wire.   Cowboys vs. Eagles ...

Champs & Chumps-2014 Sprint Cup Season

Who made out big this season and who has their work cut out for them next season This season was one of the best seasons in a very long time for NASCAR. There was tons of excitement and drama with the new Chase format, the performances of the Chevy teams and lack there-of with the Ford and Toyota teams(with the large exception of Penske Racing), and all the buzz surrounding the 2015 rules change. Here are the drivers who made out pretty well this year and have set themselves up nicely for next season, and those who are going to be under some pressure this year. Champs Kevin Harvick: Despite the obvious fact the Harvick won the championship, he had an amazing year on top of that. There were many issues early in the season that really hindered his ability to win races(mechanical failures, poor pit stops, etc…). If the ...

Fantasy Football-Week 14

3 people you want to play and 3 you want to sit for the first week of the Fantasy Football playoff Play ‘Em Eddie Lacy(RB-GB): After last weeks mediocre performance against the Patriots where he ran for 98 yards on 21 carries. Lacy ranks 5th in the league among running backs since week 4, even after a dismal start to the season(I even traded him in my league…). Lacy has a great matchup this weekend against the Falcons, who have allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing backs this year. My prediction: 25 carries, 165 yards and 2 scores. Le’Veon Bell(RB-PIT): Last week Bell was a huge part of the passing game with 8 catches for 159 yards and 95 yards in 21 carries and a score. Week 11 Bell had 204 yards on 33 carries against the Tennessee Titans and this week the Steelers play the Bengals, who ...

3 Reasons Why Eagles Will Upset the Cowboys

Eagles Have The Edge The Eagles are heading to Dallas to take on the Cowboys and establish they are the best in the NFC EAST. Now we all know the Cowboys are having a great year, especially with Demarco Murray and Dez Bryant, but we also know that the Cowboys and Tony Romo are known for choking when it comes to big games! Both of these teams are (8-3), however the Cowboys are (3-3) at home which is a little discerning being the fact that if they want to make it to the playoffs they will have to play a lot better at home. Yes the Cowboys just came off a win against the Giants which could’ve went either way, however they allowed 417 yds and 28 pts to the 3-8 Giants! I can only imagine what this Chip Kelly style offense is going to do on Thanksgiving.   4th ...
