We all remember Danny Green’s dominating performance in the first five games of the 2013 NBA Finals against the Miami Heat. But then he got shut down in the last two games. That’s all in the past, because it’s a new year and the Spurs are back in the finals, Green finally gets his chance at redemption this year! Say hello to Danny Green! The three-point shooter came alive towards the end of Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals. It was nice to see him come through for the San Antonio Spurs with a few clutch shots. Green started the night off by missing his first 5 shots. He started off Game 1 with three quiet quarters but then he got it going and he carried the Spurs home at the end of the fourth quarter. Tim Duncan from the San Antonio Spurs finished Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals with 21 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 9-10 from the floor. Only three men in the history of the game have had 20+ points, 10+ rebounds and a field-goal percentage of 90 or higher in the NBA postseason. Those three men are Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain and now, Tim Duncan. The Big Fundamental is on his way to potentially winning his fifth NBA championship. After losing to the Miami Heat in the 2013 NBA Finals, Duncan is like a fine wine. He’s really bounced back and some can even say that he has become better in recent years.
