Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, except Jurgen Klinsmann. The U.S. men’s national team head coach is a complete idiot and I’m tired about hearing him make stupid statements. Recently, Klinsmann explained his decision to leave American soccer legend Landon Donovan off the 2014 FIFA World Cup roster. Obviously, that decision created a huge backlash and Klinsmann went ahead and defended himself during a recent interview with the New York Times Magazine. “This always happens in America,” Klinsmann said in the interview. “Kobe Bryant, for example — why does he get a two-year contract extension for $50 million? Because of what he is going to do in the next two years for the Lakers? Of course not. Of course not. He gets it because of what he has done before. It makes no sense.   Dear  Adam Silver, Roger Goodell, coaches and team owners worldwide, Three weeks ago Donald Sterling came under fire for his racist and disgusting comments. He was fined $2.5 million and banned from the game and rightfully so. The commissioner came down hard and strong and it was the right decision. There is no place for racism, not just in sports, but anywhere amongst humanity. Something in the same category, but with worse physical repercussions is domestic abuse. The leniency that is given to them for their domestic abuse problems that happen all to often and go unpunished. After losing the La Liga title on the final day, Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique decided to hit the red carpet with Shakira at the 2014 Billboard Awards. Immediately after losing, Pique decided to take a flight to Las Vegas and accompany Shakira. At one point, the two stars collided and had no problem showing their affection in public. Let’s just say… Shakira definitely helped him get over losing the La Liga title. It must be nice to be Gerard Pique. On a side note, Gerard Pique has agreed to a 5-year contract with Barcelona. Pique’s new deal adds an additional four years onto the 12 months left on his current contract, keeping him with the Blaugrana until 2019 and the age of 32. His commitment to the club, alongside Lionel Messi‘s, kicks off the summer in a bright fashion for a Barcelona squad that is anxiously waiting to improve next year.
